Finansevim and Vakıfevim, two players in the interest-free housing and car acquisition sector, have merged. The Chairman of Finansevim Board of Directors, Serdar Kolo, who is a 50 percent shareholder of both institutions, took over the remaining shares and became the sole owner of both institutions. Combining the two brands as Finansevim under the roof of Kolo Holding, Kolo said that the merger will be completed on April 6th. Stating that their capital will increase to 25 million TL after the merger, they will increase this to 500 million TL with the support of the funds from the Netherlands, and the Dutch will invest close to 60 million euros. Kolo said, ''In two years, we have reached 400 employees and 50 branches under the Finansevim brand in the sector. Vakifevim broke new grounds in the sector with 12 branches in five months. With this partnership, we want to complete 2020 as the company with the largest branch network in Turkey." It will reach 160 branches! Noting that Finansevim's pre-tax profit is 22 million TL, Kolo said that they will reach 160 branches in total with 100 new branches to be opened. Kolo said, “We will be the largest interest-free financing system serving across Turkey. Our target for the end of 2020 was a growth of 200 percent. I can say that we will reach this number in the first half of the year with the merger. Our plans for 2021 are 400 percent growth. When we look at our monthly turnover increase rates, our goal for 2021 is to be the biggest in the sector.''
"The interest-free system reaches 50 billion TL with regulation" Stating that the interest-free system has touched 1 million people so far, the number of companies operating in the sector with 23 companies entering the sector in the last year is 27, Serdar Kolo stated that the process regarding the regulation of the system has been accelerated and can be completed at the end of the month. Stating that the control and supervision of the sector will be ensured with the legal status, Kolo said, "We foresee that the annual turnover of the sector will reach 50 billion liras with the completion of the state regulation process. Thus, as the sector, we will contribute to the country's economy of 50 billion lira annually." Explaining that they will open branches in districts rather than provincial centers, as the rental costs are more affordable, Kolo said, "We can open 10 branches in districts, rather than opening a branch in the center."
